Welcome to PicPDF (“PicPDF”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PicPDF mobile application and any related features or services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using PicPDF, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PicPDF regarding your use of the Service.

You represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and to use the Service in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of PicPDF complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe that your use violates these Terms or applicable law.

3. License to Use PicPDF

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, PicPDF grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to download, install, and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.

This license is granted solely for your lawful use of the Service and does not transfer ownership of the application or any intellectual property rights to you.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute the Service;
• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service;
• Circumvent or interfere with any security or technical measures implemented by PicPDF;
• Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PicPDF responsibly and only for lawful purposes.

When using the Service, you agree that you will not:

• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
• Upload, create, or distribute content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, or otherwise objectionable;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, related systems, or networks;
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or integrity of the Service;
• Use automated tools or methods to misuse, overload, or abuse the Service;
• Circumvent subscription restrictions or other technical limitations;
• Use AI-powered features to generate content intended to facilitate unlawful, harmful, or deceptive activities.

You are solely responsible for your use of the Service and for ensuring that your activities comply with applicable laws and these Terms.

5. Your Documents and Content

You retain all ownership rights to the documents, images, text, and other content that you create, upload, import, or process through PicPDF (“Your Content”).

By using the Service, you grant PicPDF a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the features you request, such as document scanning, file conversion, editing, optical character recognition (OCR), and AI-powered assistance.

This permission does not transfer ownership of Your Content to PicPDF. We do not claim any ownership rights in the documents or materials you process using the Service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights and permissions to use, upload, process, or share Your Content through PicPDF.

You represent and warrant that Your Content does not violate any applicable law or infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.

6. AI Features

PicPDF may provide AI-powered features, including but not limited to document rewriting, title generation, and other intelligent document assistance (“AI Features”).

AI Features are provided to assist your productivity and are intended for informational purposes only. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your particular needs.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and determining the appropriateness of any AI-generated content before relying on or using it.

You agree not to use AI Features to generate or distribute content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, or is intended to facilitate fraudulent, harmful, or deceptive activities.

We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue AI Features from time to time. The availability and performance of AI Features may vary depending on your device, operating system, region, or applicable technical requirements.

7. Subscription and Purchases

Certain features of PicPDF may require a paid subscription or other in-app purchase.

All purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s applicable payment terms and conditions.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date through your Apple ID account settings.

Pricing, subscription plans, trial offers, and available features may vary by region and may change from time to time.

Apple is responsible for processing payments, subscription renewals, refunds (where applicable), and billing information. Questions regarding payment transactions should be directed to Apple.

Failure to pay applicable subscription fees may result in the suspension or limitation of access to premium features.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including but not limited to the PicPDF application, software, user interface, design, graphics, trademarks, logos, text, and other proprietary materials, is owned by or licensed to PicPDF and is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws.

Except for the limited license expressly granted under these Terms, nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership or intellectual property rights in the Service.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service without our prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.

“PicPDF” and related names, logos, and branding are trademarks or service marks of PicPDF or its licensors. Unauthorized use of these marks is prohibited.

9. Updates and Availability

We are continually improving PicPDF and may update, modify, add, remove, or discontinue features or functionality at any time, with or without prior notice.

The availability of certain features may vary depending on factors such as your device, operating system, region, language, subscription plan, or technical requirements.

We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device or software version.

From time to time, you may need to install updates to continue using certain features or to maintain the security and performance of the Service

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, PicPDF disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will always meet your specific requirements;
• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors;
• AI-generated content or document processing results will always be complete, accurate, or suitable for your intended use;
• Any defects or errors will be corrected within a particular timeframe.

You acknowledge that your use of the Service is at your own discretion and risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PicPDF and its affiliates, licensors, partners, employees, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

This includes, without limitation, damages resulting from:

• Loss of data or documents;
• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities;
• Business interruption;
• Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content;
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your information caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using PicPDF at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or part of the Service if we reasonably believe that:

• You have violated these Terms;
• Your use of the Service is unlawful or harmful;
• Your activities pose a security risk to the Service or other users;
• Suspension or termination is required to comply with applicable laws or legal obligations.

Termination of your access does not affect any rights or obligations that have accrued prior to the termination.

Sections of these Terms that, by their nature, should survive termination will remain in effect after your use of the Service ends.
